Renta Car Software from RentSyst released a little but very important upgrade for all the car owners with GPS transmitters in our system.

What is important for car owners with GPS sensors? Right, it is to monitor the travel route in real time mode, and this is exactly what we did.

We added not only an opportunity to track car movements but also an opportunity to observe car’s speed and fuel allowance in real-time mode.

What advantages does this upgrade have?

The given functionality will be useful if a car breaks down somewhere and there is need to call a tow truck. If a client cannot find the rental car for a long time, you will always be able to give them its coordinates. Also, if a client leaves a car out of car surrender zone, it will be visible.

On the map, there will be depicted car icons in three colors and states:

• black automobile - nobody is using this vehicle;
• green automobile - this vehicle is activated and attached to a certain client;
• red automobile - this vehicle is moving.
