Update Highlights Q2 2023

Dear RentSyst users,

In this article we prepared a quarterly update list of features that we added during April – June of 2023.

✅ LIST OF UPDATES:

1. New firmware was updated for all trackers (FMB and FMM series)

12. Updated API documentation and instructions on how to work with it

13. Possibility to open generated payment links directly from the order page

14. A new download manager has been written

15. Updated Help Center – added Video Guides section

17. Added new shortcode for periods (minimum rental price per period) for WordPress booking plugin

18. New integration added – Payment provider Plati.Online (Romania)

19. Updated and added new table in the database export

20. Spanish translation improved and updated

21. Polish translation improved and updated.

➡️ HOW IT WORKS:

1. New firmware was updated for all trackers (FMB and FMM series).

Now all customers who use VOS integration have fresh firmware for tracker devices. That will improve tracker work and connection stability. Firmware updated for FMB and FMM series.

2. Updated Guide – Integration with QuickBooks.

Updated a few screenshots with fresh data. Guide for QuickBooks available at our FAQ.

3. Updated Guide – Integration with Stripe.

Updated screenshots with fresh interface and data. Guide for Stripe available at our FAQ.

4. Updated Guide – Integration with LiqPay.

Updated screenshots with fresh interface and data. Guide for LiqPay available at our FAQ.

5. Updated Guide – Integration with SumUp.

Updated screenshots with fresh interface and data. Guide for SumUp available at our FAQ.

6. Added new icons into extras category.

Added 11 new icons for equipment and services category. You can check it and update your icons in account settings > equipment menu > icons.

7. Stripe integration updates – expanded payment options.

Now inside Stripe integration available expanded payment methods that you can select for your customers as additional options for card transactions.

Among payment methods – providers such as: Bancontact (Belgium), iDEAL (Netherlands), Giropay (Germany), OXXO (Mexico), Przelewy24 (Poland), PromptPay (Thailand) and others.

⚠️ Pay attention: it is not allowed and not recommended to activate all methods that are listed in the integration page. Use only those payment methods that you are using.

8. New integration added – Payment provider ePay (Greece).

10. New integration added – Payment provider Paymark Click (WorldLine New Zealand).

This is a local New Zealand payment provider called Paymark Click that was rebranded and now provides service with the WorldLine brand name. Full instructions and more info about integration possibilities available on Blog here – Integration with WorldLine.

11. New integration added – Payment provider Redsys (Spain).

12. Updated API documentation and instructions on how to work with it.

13. Possibility to open generated payment links directly from the order page.

Now you can also open the payment link from the order page directly. When you generate a payment link inside the order profile – below the button Send Invoice you will have a second button called Payment Link. This button will allow you to open the same payment link that you sent to your customer by email.

14. A new download manager has been written.

The server timeout has been increased. Optimization of the script for unloading exports and the database. By this update when you do export – you will see speed and progress bar with % of exporting success.

15. Updated Help Center – added Video Guides section.

We added a new section with Video Guides to help you improve your skills to manage your processes more efficiently in RentSyst. Link added into Help Center and navigate you to our YouTube channel, where we upload short videos about the most hot topics and explain in detail how it works.

16. Updated Damage Report.

Updated return date – now it's generated automatically by date when order is finishing. Also inside the Damage report now goes a full description of the damage. Updated and added bigger photo resolution for attached files.

17. Added new shortcode for periods for WordPress booking plugin.

Added shortcode rentsyst_catalog_period_prices for periods -- this will give you a possibility to see the most minimum price for each period.

18. New integration added – Payment provider Plati.Online (Romania).

19. Updated and added new table in the database export.

Driver License number has been added to the database export file as a new table.

20. Spanish translation improved and updated.

You can change your main language for account in the General setting of your Profile.

21. Polish translation improved and updated.
