The first quarter of 2026 brought a wave of powerful updates to Rentsyst, focused on automation, flexibility, and global scalability for car rental businesses. From invoicing improvements and broker management to new integrations and payment capabilities, here’s everything you need to know was released during January – March 2026.
We’ve expanded customization options across all key documents to give you more control and flexibility:
1. New shortcode – “Extras Total Summary”. A new shortcode in Agreements and Iinvoices allows you to display a clear summary of all extras included in a booking.
2. New shortcode – “Client Post Code”. Now available across all document types – Agreement, Invoice, Offer, and Damage Report – ensuring more complete client data.
3. New shortcode – “Notes Reservation”. Add reservation notes directly to Agreements and Invoices using a new shortcode.
Better visibility and control over your fleet operations:
4. Timeline Update: Right-click popup menu now includes an “Edit Event” option with visible vehicle group names.
5. Fleet counter update for billing (Tariff plan): improved logic for more accurate account billing based on fleet size
6. Fuel Type Expansion: Added a new option — Gasoline/Electro — for hybrid vehicles.
Managing broker partnerships just got easier and more flexible:
7. Updated Business Logic for Brokers – enhanced pricing and operational workflows.
8. Price adjustment for Brokers.
We’ve introduced a powerful new update that allows you to easily adjust pricing for each broker. You can now apply either a markup (increase “+”) or a discount (decrease “-“) to your base price, depending on your partnership terms. Go inside Rentsyst admin panel – Settings – Integrations & Agents – Brokers.
Possible to set adjustment only for active integration – click on gear button.

9. Confirmation email for Broker connection – automatic notifications when a broker is successfully connected.
More control, better tracking, and smoother transactions:
10. New payment filter: added “Agent fee” as a selectable payment type for better reporting.
11. Stripe Update: Deposit Hold can now be processed via card authorization – without additional customer steps. Automatic re-sending of the payment link for card authorization every 6 days, before the end of the first authorization period (7 days).
12. Client profile debt balance: Improved calculation logic for more accurate financial tracking.
Before update: the debt balance indicator for a client is also calculated if this driver got a role as Additional Driver inside the same order. So Debt Balance was duplicated for several clients at once.
After update: the debt balance now calculated only for Head Driver.
Streamline booking management and reporting:
13. Customer group filter: easily filter reservations by customer groups.
14. Export improvements: added new columns “Gender” and “Client Post Code” to reservation exports for deeper insights.
Operational fixes and compliance tools:
15. GPS Fix: Remote control buttons issue resolved – lock/unlock functionality stabilized. Also we update control buttons – now its the same interface for Internet or SMS commands:
16. New penalty types: added Parking, Geofence, and Fine Ticket categories for better incident tracking.
